Configuration

Config file

When you start the game for the first time a config file is created in the directory where you put the FrighteningTimes.exe. This file is called FrighteningTimes.cfg and contains default settings so that you don't have to do anything about it if you don't want to.

By editing this file you can change the following settings:

Fullscreen	=	true	Play the game in full screen mode. If you experience any problems in full screen mode try running the game in window mode.
	=	false	Play the game in window mode. If you experience any problems in window mode try running the game in full screen mode.
Music.On	=	true	Turn music on.
	=	false	Turn music off.
Sound.On	=	true	Turn sound effects on.
	=	false	Turn sound effects off.
Preloading	=	true	Load all necessary resources on game start (longer startup time, no pauses during game). Since this is a rather simple game this setting probably won't have any noticeable effect.
	=	false	Load resources when needed (quick start, small pauses during game). Since this is a rather simple game this setting probably won't have any noticeable effect.
